Kits were pretty straightforward as TIE Fighters don't really have much weathering or decal deco. I wanted these to take on the original studio model color, which was a blue-gray hue. After taking screen caps from the movie, and referencing studio models via the Internet, I got them as close as possible, although these may be slightly more blue than the originals. My interpretation of the color was achieved by mixing three Vallejo Model Air colors (approximate): White-Grey 60%, Neutral Gray 35%, and Blue 5%. Black cockpit windows were colored using fine art black pens.
