The kit is well engineered and a fun little kit to work on. Part fit is excellent. Pay close attention to main landing gear construction. Dry fitting these parts is a must. Belcher Bit resin parts were used to extend the above wing engine nacelles and modify the wing’s leading edge between the fuselage and the nacelles. Definitely a recommended upgrade. While the kit’s engines are nicely detailed, the Metallic Details resin engines provided an upgrade and allowed me to practice detailing engines with spark plug wires and individual push rods. I did modify the parts to allow the propellers to spin. Typical for Eduard detail parts, several high quality parts were added. EZ-Line was used for the antenna wires.
As the Beechcraft was employed by both civilian and multiple military users, marking options are wide open. If you get this kit, have fun with it. A good kit to practice various techniques. Represented is an overall Navy Gloss Sea Blue. I believe that the aircraft modeled here was the first support aircraft for the U.S. Navy Blue Angles.
